Remembrance Day 2020 Jan Aitken, Diana Warrell and Natalie Duffy attended for the NRG.
We met as a specially invited group at the Kangaroo Ground War Memorial Tower. The Eltham Mens Shed had erected gazebos and chairs were placed socially distanced apart. This year the service was organised and led by the Monty Eltham RSL. For the previous 8 years the Friends of Kangaroo Ground Tower and War Memorial Park had run this service.
The guest speaker was Glen Ferrarotto from the RSL. Several wreaths were laid. Jan laid a wreath on behalf of NRG ‘In Honour of Aboriginal Soldiers and Natalie also laid one recognising her relatives who had Aboriginal heritage and all Aboriginal service men.
