Annual General Meeting

The formalities of the AGM will be short: Receipt of the Annual Report 2022, tabling of the
Financial Report for the year ended 30 June 2022, and the Election of the committee for 2023.
At 7.30pm we will welcome our special guests who will tell us about their work for the
Nillumbik Shire:
- Uncle Joel Wright is Corporate Development Manager with Indigenous Employment
Partners. He is working on the Shire’s Reconciliation Action Plan. - Vicky Bonafede is the newly appointed Aboriginal Partnerships Officer for Nillumbik
Shire. She is there to work with us in our Reconciliation initiatives
We invite you to meet these stirring Aboriginal leaders. They are working for reconciliation,
bringing our Shire into this thrilling time of Aboriginal truth, Aboriginal recognition as the First
Peoples and the essential changes which precede long overdue treaties.
This is an opportunity to find out what is happening on our patch.
